I am Florence Ranson, seasoned presenter and moderator. I am an open-minded, outgoing and engaging professional, who thoroughly enjoys leading discussions, both in person and online. To me a moderator is the “oil in the engine”: I make sure speakers are at ease and participants engaged throughout the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time – even in case of hiccup.
What I Offer
I work hand-in-glove with speakers of all levels and cultures, be they European Commissioners, Ministers or first-time debaters.
My clients include EU Institutions (EC, EP, EESC, CoR) & Agencies, national/international organisations & companies, media, and trade associations. My extensive experience gives me a fast and easy grasp of a wide range of topics, from agriculture/agri-food to development, as well as health, regional policy, education & training, enterprise policy, and more.
I am perfectly bilingual French - English, working fluently in both. As a linguist, I am mindful of the fact that most speakers and audiences use a language that is not their mother tongue and happily adapt.
Events & debate presentation/moderation
I will cooperate with organisers to prepare events to best suit their needs and requirements and ensure a smooth flow. I aim to take speakers and participants by the hand and lead them through the event to meet the goals set for the occasion.
I am happy to host your ceremonies and events with professionalism while transmitting my enthusiasm. Awards ceremonies are particular occasions for all those who take part, I believe it is the presenter’s role to help them live it to the full.

You would like to brush up on your public speaking skills? You need to feel more confident when presenting and you want your audience to be attentive? I can help you learn how to fight the stress and how to deliver a convincing presentation, building on your competences and personality.
Crises generally happen totally unexpectedly. Being prepared for the ensuing communications approach is essential but not a priority in many organisations. I will help you devise a crisis preparedness plan and organise effective reactions in case of problem.
